LOCATIONS

Welcome to LSE Garrick, a vibrant eatery located right on Houghton Street in London, just a stone's throw from the bustling heart of student life at the London School of Economics (LSE). This charming café, open to the public, offers a delightful mix of scrumptious meals and refreshing drinks, perfect for anyone seeking a comfortable yet lively atmosphere.

LSE Garrick stands out for its student-friendly pricing alongside a menu with diverse offerings. As shared by patrons like Jack Jones, it has quickly become a favorite hangout for students and locals alike. Many reviewers highlight the friendly staff who create an inviting environment, making it easy to settle in whether for a quick coffee or a satisfying meal.

One of the highlights of dining at LSE Garrick is experiencing their downstairs restaurant. Ian, a diner, praised their chicken katsu curry as both tasty and budget-friendly at just £6.80. This kind of value is part of what makes LSE Garrick such an appealing option in a city known for its high living costs. The menu further includes flavorful pizzas, recommended by Fiona R, who enjoyed both the farmhouse and spicy pepperoni varieties.

What truly sets LSE Garrick apart is its versatility. Whether you’re stopping by for a hearty breakfast like the deliciously loaded bacon and egg sandwich as noted by Vanessa Araujo, or if you're simply looking for a good place to study, the ample seating and student-friendly vibe provide a perfect backdrop for productivity. With stories of great coffee, delightful cakes—including the stunning rainbow cake—and meal deals, you’re sure to find something that delights your palate.

As Sudeshna Mukherjee points out, the café not only serves as a local treasure for the LSE crowd but also attracts non-students, making it an ideal landmark in the area. From early mornings with discounted coffee specials to casual lunches and evenings with friends, LSE Garrick encapsulates a welcoming community spirit.

So whether you're grabbing a quick bite between lectures, meeting friends, or looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a cup of cappuccino, LSE Garrick stands ready to provide delicious food with a smile. Plan your visit to this delightful café and become part of its lively and animated atmosphere that leaves you coming back for more!

Came here for lunch with a friend and really enjoyed the pizza! We got the farmhouse and the spicy pepperoni and recommend! The service was friendly and the place was clean! A really good spot to study in as well.

A very special students cafe Garrick is part of the student life at the LSE. The cafe serves very good coffee, especially cappuccino and nice fresh cakes and sandwiches. Especially recommended is the rainbow cake, which looks amazing and tastes great too! This ground floor cafe, which has all round windows both from the LSE courtyard and the central street close to the Royal Courts of Justice on the Fleet Street, also has a ground floor donn no ont place they serves food, other than just coffee and sandwiches. One negative experience: my mobile phone was stolen right from under my nose back in summer 2015.

One of the most convenient cafes of LSE where non-LSE folks can also meet/hang out. Whether you've dinner plans next door at Roka or some other engagement, perfect as a landmark too.

I had a meeting next door so came in there for a coffee to prepare. Lots of tables free and my Americano was only 1 as they had a special between 8am and 930. Very good.

I was walking around the area and felt like eating a egg and bacon sandwich and saw this place on Google map and decided to give it a try. The guy at the reception took me downstairs and I was very well served by this sweet and very kind lady who made me a huge and tasty breakfast on toast. 2 sausages, 2 eggs and 4 bacon rashers on a white bread and a late for less than 5. I was too hungry to take pics tho. Definitely recommend this place!
